Thank You!
For the past two years, our annual
Christmas fund-raiser has brought in
a total of six thousand dollars. With
this money, for the past two years, we
were able to buy each little child in
Casa Suyapa (around 75 children) a
small toy as well as many table games
for the children to share.

The children found many gifts
under the tree and without
understanding the concept of
Christmas morning, they believed that
the gifts were given on a "first come
first serve basis." It was a beautiful
moment to be a part of as the children
discovered or could still believe in
Santa Clause; as for some of them,
before they arrived to NPH did not
even know about his "existence."
Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos Honduras
began more than 20 years ago. With that
knowledge, the houses with close to 600
hundred children living in them have
gone through a lot of wear and tear over
the past years and were in desperate
need of remodeling.

The bathrooms are of particular concern
throughout the entire ranch for they are
all in terrible shape. Many of the toilets
never work and the sinks are always
clogged. One can frequently find
either from the youngest children to the
oldest boys and girls showering out of a
bucket of freezing cold water.

Thanks to this past year's private
donations and support at the Christmas
fund-raiser, we were able to help
remodel the bathrooms in Casa Suyapa.

Thank You!
With help from the past two Christmas
fund-raisers as well as additional donations
throughout the past year, we funded the first
Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos Girls Soccer
Team. The shirts, shorts, socks, shin pads and
gloves are all brand new. The jerseys have their
own NPH logo designed on the front.

The girls were more than excited to finally
receive the support they were hoping for.
There are enough uniforms for 20 girls. The
girls wore the uniforms for the first time in El
Salvador at the First Annual NPH Soccer
Tournament. They came in third place.

The Lawn Mower and
Weed Wacker
The lawn mower and weed whacker
were the best uses of funds from last
years Christmas fund-raiser. Before they
had these machines, the kids would have
to work with machetes to keep up with
the rapidly growing weeds that would
surround their house. Now as the work
gets done faster, they have more time to
play.
